We're looking for a special individual to join the team. We are a startup forest school in Tokyo. We bring children from different locations in Tokyo to pristine nature for them to have well needed unstructured play. We are not your typical formal education. If you're interested in providing a meaningful education for young learners without the structures and rules of being indoors we could be the school for you. **This is a freelance job. You must have a valid visa to work in Japan. iForest- International Forest School is looking for a dedicated educator with a holistic mindset. We are a play based, outdoor school with an emergent curriculum. We believe children have the intrinsic ability to learn when given the space to explore, freedom to create, and time to experiment. These elements are the forefront of their development. As adults we are here to guide, provocative, and know when to step back when needed. Criteria: *Understand the value of intrinsic learning *Conversational English and Japanese language proficiency *2+ years experience working with children *Able to be outdoors in all weather conditions *Ok with working in a moving van *Tech savvy *Reliable *Organized *Comfortable with changes Bonus: *Feel comfortable driving in Tokyo Logistics: *Location varies within Roppongi area *8:15am- 3:15pm What we offer: We believe sustainability starts with the comfort of our team.
