対象：制作活動を活かすためにコミュニティを求めているクリエイター
内容：共同スタジオのような雰囲気でクリエイターたちが集まり、自分の作品を共有したり、今まで触れたことがない素材を試したり、お互いの創作活動を応援したり、コラボレーションの可能性も探ってみます。クリエイターといっても、未経験の方も大歓迎です。何かを作り上げることに対する好奇心だけが必要です！毎回英語と日本語のミックスで行いますので言語のスキルをレベルアップする機会にもなります。（もちろん英語/日本語ができなくても参加できます）参加者同士との協力でcommon craft clubのこれからを一緒に展開させていきます。
素材：第一回目は主に糸、毛糸、プラスチックニードルポイントを使う予定です。
コーディネーター： Andy Sloan Jackson　アメリカのアトランタ出身のアーティスト/デザイナー。現在千葉を拠点として活動していますが、週末はいつも東京に遊びにきます。美術教師、教授先生、アートディレクターとして働いたことがあります。CONTROL CENTERというギフトブランドの設立者でもあります。様々な素材・様々な方法で何かをつくるのが大好きで、創造活動に対する熱心を通して他の人とつながりたいのです。Common Craft Clubでは新しいプロジェクトを挑戦したり、今まで作った作品を共有したり、一緒に何かを作ったりすることでより広いクリエイティブコミュニティとの関わりを促進します。

creative people searching a community to encourage their design/making practice
What
A shared studio space for creatives/makers to join together and share their projects, encourage each others work, approach different materials and themes and seek out possibilities of collaborating together. No experience is needed just a curiosity for creation. The sessions will be held in a mishmash of English and Japanese giving participants the chance to expand their language skills too! All participants will work together to shape the development of the craft club.

Andy Sloan Jackson is an artist and designer from Atlanta, GA in the United States. He is now based in Japan, working and living in Chiba with weekends spent in Tokyo. He is a former art teacher, professor, and art director. He is the founder and creative director of CONTROL CENTER, an independent gift and stationery brand. He enjoys making things in many ways with many different materials and wants to use this passion for creating as a way to connect people. Common Craft Club is a new and ongoing time for you to learn new projects or bring ongoing projects and work on them with others, sharing and connecting to the larger community.
