This special workshop party is easy to understand for everyone including beginners and you will be able to dance in no time. Also there is no partner needed to participate!! In fact, many people would come alone. Also we are encouraging more people including beginners to come during this new season!! So please take advantage of it!! As a special bonus, you get to learn Freestyle which you can dance with Lindy Hop as well. There will be two different classes and social dance time so that the participants can attend to their suitable level. There is no additional cost to attend these classes. But we strongly recommend you to attend everything. During social dance time, you get to dance and practice freely. You can join the classes during the workshop, but we recommend you to come on time. << Class Description >> "Introduction to Savoy Style Lindy Hop" This workshop will prepare you to the wonderful world of Savoy Style Lindy Hop and will teach you some of the "Gotta Have Stuff" before you can enter the world of Lindy Hop. If you are the beginners or still have some difficulties on the basic of Swing, this class is for you!! We encourage people who take Lindy Hop class to take this class since it is critical to master the basic of Swing to move forward smothly!! Besides you got nothing to lose...hahaha "Freestyle" This Class will prepare you for the smooth freestyle moves which you can dance with your favorite Lindy Hop Songs. As a part of integration, once you master this dance, you get to enjoy the variety of dances and get to expand your horizon!! "Savoy Style Lindy Hop" This is the authentic Frankie Manning's Savoy Style Lindy Hop workshop. You get to learn the real Savoy Hop from A to Z including the mechanism of Lindy so that you get to understand the reason why!! Also the strong focus will be emphasized on the fundamentals, so that you can build a solid basic. With having this or without having this, you will make one hell of a huge difference in the future. Throughout all classes, we will cover from the basic of Swing to Charleston to Authentic Savoy Style Lindy Hop to Swing Line Dance such as Shim Sham & Jitterbug Stroll to Jazz Steps and Freestyle moves and more!! Swing is a bundle of fun and we'd love to share this wonderful treasure with more people in Japan. Beginners and "Not so beginners" or those who are interested in Swing Dance are welcome. No high heel shoes or shoes with high rubber friction soles such as sneakers are recommended.
