I have held multiple leadership roles, lead teacher positions, received awards, praise, and more. During my teaching career, I have also continued to follow my passion for making films, which led me to create the first English movie in a non-English speaking country. This paved the way for me to become the private tutor for a Chinese celebrity in Beijing. My dream has long been to move to Japan and make my home here, through teaching, making films, making friends, and helping wherever I can. My proudest achievement is being called "Life Teacher" by many of my students. They have found a deeper value in my lessons, which they consider positive, uplifting, encouraging, and even rejuvenating. I believe that more is needed when learning a language.
