When is it appropriate to use “ Please” in English conversation ? 4. In Japanese , people often use the word “Please” , but in English , using it too much or incorrectly can seem awkward or even rude . So what do you think of the English usage and their cultural context compared to our first language , Japanese ? 5. Have you indicated your clunky and unnatural English from some English speakers ? If yes , then how did you deal with ? In Japan , English is not commonly used in everyday interactions , English is primarily used in formal context such as business , education , or international events . For these reasons, causal English chats rare in Japan . So when real -life situations call for English , many Japanese speakers find their skills lacking , which can be discouraging . If we talk about these issues many times , the situation in Japan is unlikely to change quickly . The interactions often say at the surface , and real English communication remains difficult . This is the reality we face , but focusing only on those problems does not help us move forward with our main topic . Our English has not the using one , always studying the language constantly with textbooks and exam -focused lessons . Therefore our English is easily indirectly different from real English .
