Are you looking for some places to Swing Dance? Looking for something fun to do on Saturday night? Wanna learn how to Swing? Well, you've come to the right place!! We have our brand new Swing Dance Class / Party event called "土曜の夜はSwing Dance♪ / Saturday Night Swing Dance♪“ on almost every Saturday night!! If you are interested in Swing Dance whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned pro, this is your chance to participate!! You get to learn the authentic Savoy Style Lindy Hop including 6 counts East Coast Swing, 8 counts Charleston moves and 4 counts Free Style which you can incorporate with 8 counts Lindy Hop. This group was created to help and promote people who want to learn the authentic Savoy Style Swing Dance. Starting from scratch, we'd like to make sure that our students will have a solid basic foundation since it is an indispensable part of being strong Swing Dancers. So we'll make sure that you will have a solid basic foundation. Also since Swing Dance has such a special power to even change one's life, we'd like to share it with people in Osaka. Our instructor was taught directly from the Master himself "Frankie Manning", Erin & Tammy Stevens at PBDA, Steven Mitchell and Ryan Francois and has the extensive depth of teaching experiences in both Los Angles, California and Osaka, Japan. In fact, he was the one and only Japanese instructor who was teaching authentic Savoy Style Lindy Hop at the ground zero in Los Angeles / Pasadena when the Neo-Swing Boom exploded back in the late 90's. And of course back then, there was no Lindy Hop revived in Japan yet. Also he has taught over 1000 people and has many media appearances in Los Angeles including TV's, magazines, news papers, movies and European media. When he teaches, he can break things down for the students to understand very clearly and he is known for his likable teaching method. He can make sure that you will have a strong understanging on your foundation. So even if you don't know how to dance now, it doesn't matter at all cuz YOU WILL BE DANCING at the end of the lesson!! This event has 2 parts. 　 One is our famous dance lesson, and the other one is our dance party. As you might already know, Swing Dance is not a solo dance like Disco or Hip Hop. Rather it is an old fashioned partner dance where men will lead women. Yet unlike ballroom dance, it is a very casual down-to-earth kinda dance where freedom to express your joy with your partner and playing with him/her in your favorite music are the heart of the dance. You will find big smiles on your face once you start to swing!! You get to dance with wide variety of music from traditional 30's and 40's good old days big band music, Swing Jazz, Swing Blues, Boogie-Woogie, Oldies to the late 90's Neo-Swing music like Big Bad Boodoo Daddy, Royal Crown Revue or Cherry Poppin' Daddies.
