Korean and Japanese Lessons in Kobuchi, Minami Ward, Sagamihara Are you interested in learning Korean and having conversations with a native speaker? This is for you if you want to: * Learn from the basics of Hangeul to conversational Korean. * Discuss various topics related to Korean culture. * Learn the Korean pronunciations of Chinese characters. * Have one-on-one or group lessons. * Learn standard Korean. * Practice writing and reading. Anyone with an interest in Korea is welcome! My Experience and Strengths While I don't have extensive teaching experience, I've taught Korean to 13 Japanese individuals and taught Korean culture, food, and language to students at Kyoto Tachibana High School. My key strengths include: * I passed the Korean Language and Literature Chinese Character Proficiency Test Level 1 (a national qualification), which only 7,000 people passed at the time (2009). This gives me expertise in teaching Korean Chinese characters, so please contact me if you're interested in that. * I passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 in 2010 and have been in Japan for 14 years. I graduated from a university in Kyoto, so I can provide explanations in Japanese if needed. * I've also been an exchange student from a Japanese university to a university in Canada, so I can communicate in English. Lesson Fees * Private Lesson: * 50 minutes: 2,000 yen * 70 minutes: 2,500 yen * No entrance fee * Group Lessons (2-3 people): * 50 minutes: 1,000 yen per person * 70 minutes: 1,300 yen per person * No entrance fee I do not use a specific textbook. If you have a textbook you'd like to use, please bring it with you. For those who need a textbook, we can go to a bookstore together.
