We are gearing up for the relaunch of Japan and its open borders in 2022 and beyond. Part of a dynamic and growing team, and based in Kanazawa under the responsibility of the Director of Operations, and working in conjunction with our Housing Manager, our Travel Angels are essentially House Supervisors; local staff, responsible for assisting with the organisation of, and maintaining house cleanliness and inventory, but above all, they are the face of our company to our customers and suppliers. You, the House Supervisor, will also be available on call in the unlikely event that our customers have problems with the house or neighbours and other such issues. This job would suit and/or be ideal for a new graduate or someone looking to experience the Japan inbound travel industry. We are looking for someone who is passionate, out-going, forward-thinking, not afraid to push creative boundaries and go above and beyond for the company and customers alike. Requirements: Bright and dynamic personality Good interpersonal skills and a must-have sense of humour! Well-organised You take the initiative and aim to exceed expectations Proactive - come with solutions to problems. Ability to cope under pressure, deal with stress, and be able to handle difficult customers, neighbours and supplier situations Ability to work with minimal supervision Proficiency with computers and internet, preferably within a Mac environment You plan to stay in Kanazawa for at least the next two years. Qualifications You love travelling You love Japan and Kanazwa and are willing to share your knowledge about it. Can manage operations with efficiency and seriousness but a good sense of humour. Language requirements: Japanese - Native level (mandatory). N1 readers and speakers are also welcome to apply English - business level speaking and writing (mandatory) French, German, Spanish (any) - conversational level or above (considered a plus) Visa requirements Permission to work in Japan (visa sponsorship NOT available).
